ALBERT BENTZ

(Cinematic, Ambient & Lo-Fi Composer — Based in Ireland)

Albert Bentz is a cinematic, ambient and lo-fi composer based by the Irish Sea, crafting emotional scores, atmospheric worlds and soundscapes that feel like small films in sound. His music blends intimate pianos, analog-inspired textures, spacious ambient layers and subtle rhythmic elements, creating a sonic language rooted in storytelling, contemplation and quiet intensity.

Born in Argentina to a family of Irish heritage, Albert grew up surrounded by musical diversity and a deep sense of cultural duality. His return to Ireland later in life marked a profound personal and artistic homecoming — a feeling of closing a circle and reconnecting with the land of his ancestors.

With a career spanning more than 35 years, Albert previously composed and performed under his birth name, Mario Alberto Benitez, exploring jazz-fusion, Brazilian music and early electronic experimentation. Over time, his musical journey evolved into a deeply personal, cinematic style influenced by artists such as Vangelis, Max Richter, Ólafur Arnalds and Hans Zimmer.

From his studio in Drogheda, Ireland, just steps away from the Irish Sea, Albert draws inspiration from the Atlantic wind, the shifting light and the reflective stillness of the coastline. His compositions are designed to accompany real moments —
filmmakers, storytellers, writers, content creators, meditators, late-night listeners and anyone seeking emotional depth and atmospheric beauty.

Now, under the artistic name Albert Bentz, he begins a new chapter that unifies experience, craft, spirituality and purpose into a singular musical identity.
